Resort Rules & Regulations

  • REGISTRATION: At least one resident per space must be 55 years of age or older. All residents must register at the office upon arrival. Each space is permitted one self-contained recreational vehicle or park model, subject to management approval, one metal shed no larger than 8’x10’, and the resident’s passenger vehicle(s) (limit 2). Your name badge is your identification and should be worn at all times. Name badges are available in the office for a nominal fee.
  • PARK MODELS coming into La Hacienda must be 12 feet wide, have 395 square feet of living area, be no more than three (3) years of age, and receive written approval of management prior to setting. Resident is responsible to provide resort manager copy of his permit from Pinal County when setting a park model. Minimum setbacks are 6’ front, 3’ sides, 5’ rear. Any structural additions or changes to a Park Model must be submitted to manager for approval. Additional concrete may be added to extend driveway and patio with manager’s approval and at resident’s expense. Decks under 28” high are also allowed. Air conditioners are to be mounted at the rear of Park Models.
  • RESALE OF PARK MODELS: La Hacienda is committed to protect the investment of park model owners and keep the high quality appearance of the resort. As with any RV, park models change in style. Therefore, when the current resident of a 20 year old or older park model can no longer reside at La Hacienda, the owner of the park model must receive management approval before the park model can be resold and remain in the resort. Style and overall condition will be the determining factors in this decision. At the time of a park model sale, set backs for sheds will be checked. If in violation, the shed must be moved to be in compliance with Pinal County setbacks of 3' on the side and 4' from the rear property line.
  • SKIRTINGS AND AWNINGS: Awnings shall be aluminum and must meet Pinal County specifications for 20# live load. Skirting shall be decorative aluminum or vinyl with color matching the home. The skirting and awning must be installed within 30 days of move in.
  • ROOM ADDITIONS: Construction of Arizona Rooms on park models older than 15 years must receive management approval. Style and overall condition will be among the determining factors in this decision. The room addition shall be less than 250 square feet and be constructed to match the siding of the park model. Minimum setbacks are 5' side and 5' rear. Plans must be submitted to the resort manager for approval and a Project Consent form will be issued. A permit is required from Pinal County building Department. When the room addition is complete and passed by Pinal County, take the permit to the office for a copy to be held in your file.
  • ALL OTHER RVs (MOTOR HOMES, TRAVEL TRAILERS, 5th WHEELS) are subject to the following requirements: Be 10 years old or newer when they come in to the resort, be self contained, be a minimum of 20 feet in length and a maximum of 40 feet, have no permanent awnings or structures and receive management approval.
  • PAYMENT OF RENT will be due upon registration. Short-term residents will have rent due each month on their registration day. Space rental includes water, sewer, mail delivery to locked boxes, trash disposal and use of all facilities. Rental rates are based on a maximum of two people per unit.
  • CHECK OUT time is 12 noon. Please notify the office in advance if you are leaving the resort. Monthly residents must have electric meters read and payment made before departure. Please leave a forwarding address with the office.
  • OVERNIGHT GUESTS are welcomed provided they are registered at the office upon arrival and a guest fee is paid.
  • PETS: Residents with a dog will select a site in the designated pet area. Some breeds of dogs are not accepted and we have a limited "Pet Area" so please check with us on availability. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and remain in the pet area only. They may be walked outside the park using the west gate. No pets are allowed in the retention area or on the putting green. Owners are responsible to clean up after their pets. If pets are left unattended in the RV they must be quiet. Residents traveling with a cat may select a site anywhere in the resort provided the cat stays inside the RV at all times.
  • MAIL: There will be a $5 deposit for the key to your mailbox, which corresponds to your space number. This deposit will be refunded when your key is returned to the office. Please be sure your site number is included on all correspondence you receive.
  • MESSAGES: Emergency phone messages will be delivered immediately. All other messages will be delivered daily. Please place a clothespin near your door for these messages in the event you are not home.
  • PROPANE GAS service is provided by a local dealer who comes to your lot. Obtain a window card from the office to signal for service.
